VERA VERA VERA VERA celebrates Southern European dining culture with a seasonal menu of handmade pastries, sharing plates, and fresh takes on classic seaside fare.

 

We make handmade phyllo pies with the best interpretation of traditional fillings and surprise flavour compositions, along with olive oil cakes, meze and weekly lunch specials.

Phyllo pies have been the ultimate comfort food for people across the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe since Greco-Roman times. Yet the mainstreaming of this generations-old dish has come with a comprise in quality.​​

We’re honouring place and tradition by combining family recipes with decades of experience in the best restaurants across Canada. Rolled and baked daily at our open kitchen on Queen St West.

VERA VERA will operate at 1166 Queen St West until late Autumn 2024, when the team kicks off an ambitious full-scale renovation of our heritage building.

Bar Antonii, a Sicilian-inspired cocktail bar, will open its doors by Christmas 2025. ​​
